about me
My name is Gerry Barker, who joined the StarText project in 1982 after working in the newsroom of The Fort Worth Star-Telegram as a copy editor, rock music critic, columnist and features production editor. After making the switch from print to digital, I never looked back. After over 15 years with StarText, I continued my digital career with The Dallas Morning News, The Columbus Dispatch, TBO.com in Tampa, Florida and currently, with the Cox organization at The Palm Beach Post.
